The Elevating Publicity and Consciousness of Careers in Health (Reach) session marked a return to in-person community outreach soon after the function was held nearly for two many years since of the COVID-19 pandemic. About 100 juniors and seniors from Barton High College attended the function, which showcased presentations by UAMS College of Medicine college students who explained their personal journeys to medical university. Recruiting experts from various UAMS Regional Campuses also spoke about overall health careers and the alternatives out there by the campuses’ pipeline systems.
“This engagement with large school college students was impactful for equally our current college student population and our potential population,” claimed Renisha Ward, director of outreach plans in DDEI.
